Global Brand Imaging, the newest creative team within Nike’s Global Brand Experience division, is seeking a seasoned Lead Digital Technician to oversee the digital and asset management department at our new flagship photo studio in Los Angeles. As the Lead Digital Technician, you will be part of a world-class team focused on delivering premium images and video for Nike’s customers around the world. Responsibilities:- Maintain digital capture department within large ecommerce product and editorial studio- Develop and maintain best practices for capture sessions, file naming, image processing, uploads, and archiving- Provide maintenance for capture workstations- Aid in recruitment and hiring of freelance digital technicians - Oversee day-to-day digital technician workflow- Manage color accuracy process within photo studio and hand-off to post production- Ensure roster quality is maintained for digital technicians- Partner with Post Production to establish consistent asset management best practices and archiving structureQualificationsBasic Qualifications:- Portfolio that demonstrates proficient technical photographic skill- Knowledge of video production best practices- Demonstrable leadership experience in a large imaging operation- Expert knowledge of digital capture processes and best practices- Advanced skills in post-production tools and techniques- Ability to develop and adhere to standard work principles- Strong written and verbal communication skills - Strong working knowledge of Microsoft OfficePreferred Qualifications:- Working knowledge or workflow automation tools - Experience with web based workflow management solutions - Basic understanding of process improvement methodologies
