This is a 5 minute documentary reconstruction film about the dangers for maritime pilots and the safety improvements the industry needs to make in this area. Pilots always climb ladders to embark onto large shipping vessels, yet there is a serious non-compliance among ladder arrangements - our film tells the story of a pilot who had a near-death accident while ascending a ladder. In the film we hear from characters in interviews who all could have done more to make the pilot transfer safer.It will be available to the public via YouTube/other online platforms and will be played at maritime industry events. We require actors for the reconstruction aspect of the film.A casting session will be held on 19th February in London, Leicester Square during working hours.
