KHOU-TV, one of the top CBS affiliates in the country is looking for a top-notch technical director to help support production operations in Dallas after being displaced by Hurricane Harvey. The ideal candidate should be proficient with production switchers, broadcast graphics systems, video playout servers and other support equipment found in a typical broadcast news control room and have 3 years of experience technical directing live broadcasts.
Applicants should have at least three years of experience directing in a small to medium market. Experience with production automation systems is a plus. College degree is preferred.
