We're looking for a talented Editor for our next Short Film project starring two Deaf Actors in a fantastic location. It looks to be a beautiful film exploring the nature of Love and language and we are hoping to bring on board a talented editor to help us tell a story with few words.The Director would love to sit in with the Editor from time to time but happy to do that in a home environment or look at space rental if you haven't got a studio.Description below:Louder Than Words‘Love is a language of Silence’‘Louder Than Words’ explores the intangible, the invisible and the silent force that we call Love. An exploration into non-Verbal communication, Louder Than Words tells a traditional story of ‘lovers lost’ following a recent separation, and their return to one another by utter, yet predictable, chance.‘Ana’ has been separated from her Husband ‘Simon’ for the best part of a year, following a series of bad decisions. As she attempts to rebuild her life, she adopts old routines in order to feel some sense of normalcy amongst the loneliness. On a trip to the local annual New Years Show, a pastime she used to enjoy with Simon, she bumps into him once again. Through the course of the evening they finally face up to all that they have been avoiding within their relationship, and within themselves. ‘Ana’ and ‘Simon’ also happen to be Deaf.In Association with the Royal Association for Deaf People.
