KFSM/KXNW, a Tribune Broadcasting station, has an opening for a Sales Assistant to work in our Fort Smith or Fayetteville location.
 
The Sales Assistant will assist the sales management team with advertising efforts while developing skills and job knowledge for possible future role of Account Executive.

Responsibilities
* Support the sales management team by coordinating advertiser account activity inside the station

* Generate and review data/reporting for client analysis
* Facilitate schedule and creative change communications through various software systems
* Notify clients of program changes and late runs; create order revision in event of late orders and schedule changes
* Notify clients of digital inventory issues; create order revisions in the event of under-delivery or predicted order fulfillment issues
* Work cross-functionally with other internal departments to coordinate copy instructions/programming
* Schedule client appointments and provide AE’s with reporting as requested
* Review and file contracts and invoices
* Research invoice discrepancies; solicit payment from clients as necessary
* Perform other duties as assigned
 

Qualifications
* Bachelor’s degree required or equivalent work experience

* Prior experience in a sales department is preferred
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to work in a rapid, fast-paced environment
* Must be proficient with MS Office
* Must be willing to submit to a background check
* Must have unrestricted authorization to work in the United States.
