I’m a bubbly 71 old female retired from NHS and Local Government Human Resources Department. Past Director, Scottish Consumer Council and Justice of the Peace - Glasgow City Council. I've always been a creative individual and had I not gone into nursing, I would have been a comedian or an actress because I can make people laugh. I loved working as an extra on River City and Taggart TV series in Scotland. I’ve recently featured in a music video by Compulsory for Hamzaa and Faith Film Ltd on a film about refugees. I made a 3 minutes video to promote Internet marketing posted on You Tube. Now taking a short course on screen acting including comedy acting; my tutor said I was a Natural. It makes sense for me to go into this field now that I’m retired and have plenty of time to spare. Besides, I want to create a new life for myself.
The past 40 years have seen me really immerse myself in my work – I've brought my unique style to some brilliant projects, from local charity work to national and international events. I'm now looking to build on this experience. I’m an award winning campaigner on health issues.
Civic Awards for community empowerment and voluntary work. Community Champion Award by Lloyd Banking Group.
I’m a published poet and writing my first book. I love organic gardening and care about our environment. I’ve my own charity, TLC Academy set up to educate the girl- child. I’m into meditation, self- discipline and keen on holistic therapies. I enjoy travel and tourism.
The rest of my life is to be my best, so I will endeavour to give my best.
I look forward in anticipation of bringing my talents to your industry. Thank you.

Interesting Past Experiences
I set up the African Caribbean Women's Association in Scotland. Our first public event was during the Glasgow Cultural Year 1990. Everything was set on stage and people were waiting for the President (Me) to introduce the programme. I din't know I had stage freight. That experience led me to take up public speaking course and have not looked back. I was seriously involved in campaigning for the Sottish Referendum and also contested for a local Government office as a Councillor in Stirling Scotland .
