About me
I grew up in Inver Grove Heights, Minnesota in a middle-high class family of 6, in which my parents and I have a miniature poodle named Teddy living with us. I am half French Canadian, a quarter Filipino (sort of), and a quarter European (adopted). I was often misunderstood during much my time growing up as I had to have surgery on my tongue to help my speech when I was 13, but I still grew up with difficulties with anxiety, and have been afraid to speak up for myself. After attending a small, private Catholic school my younger years, I attended Simley High School, a public, diverse institution. I played basketball in middle school and Hockey during elementary. At Simley High School, my favorite subjects was social studies, art, and writing, and excelled in mathematics. I played Track, Cross Country and Alpine Ski in high school, and was in Martial arts (Taekwondo), Boy Scouts of America, and played basketball during middle school (hockey and soccer in elementary). Acting away to not get caught in trouble, growing up I was more enclosed until I disregarded many peers and associated myself with people who like to cause trouble, many of whom are not doing good now due to issues with drugs and violence and I had made a short film for my film production class at Winona State University on one of my friend's addiction and his lifestyle. I personally knew him and related matters, since I couldn't get along with community members who've known me for a long time, and make relations easily on new people I meet and more recent relationships I've had. From more of my optimistic side, I was encouraged to pursue in education my earlier years, and had the support of many friends and family at times, and long story short I am now pursuing the digital culture BA at Arizona State University, starting in August 2022. I go online my first year and in-person my second year to complete this degree since I already have my generals in. I previously attended Winona State University, where I took 2 film culture classes, one on its movie production, history, and film culture based on the most influential films released and another specifically focused on zombie movies. I also took 2 media based classes, a web design class and a film production class. I also attended Inver Hills Community College my 2nd year as a full-time student, and the University of Minnesota Duluth as my first. I suffered mood symptoms during my first and second year of college, and am now focused on success. I have many helpful connections unlike some of my previous years, and work when I can while attending school.
I've worked many various jobs since I was 16, when I started off working at Papa Johns. Due to low pay, I switched to Cub Foods at 17. I took a break at the end of my senior year and worked in the dining center of my first college institution that same year since I didn't have a car and needed money about until when the Covid Pandemic sent us home. I also started door dashing at 18 at various neighborhoods during the day and night, and started doing Instacart at 19, depending on delivery app services to make money during the pandemic. I worked as an Amazon Food Shopper at Whole Foods at 3 different locations in the Twin Cities metro for 5 months during my second year of college, and worked at Valley fair the summer after and the summer after that. I also work at the Afton Alps Ski Resort during the winter season, and currently work for the Express Agency in which I work for a window manufacturing company named Anderson Windows. I also done landscaping work for my dad's patio and my parent's cabin home, and the property yards.
My family is overall unique from each other. My mom grew up in Detroit and now works as a higher-up manager in accounting for a Law Firm in Minneapolis previously known as Lindquist that recently merged with another corporation. My dad is from Canada and was previously a football coach at Macalester College and a dean of students at various middle schools, and is now a principal of a charter school school he started off named Fitness Academy. My older sister works for a communication tech company and is a millionaire since she had shares in a company that's been bought out, and my younger sister has a contract with a company in which she in relation used a degree in liberal arts humanities, and my brother, previously known for playing lacrosse and being homecoming king, currently does social work for addicts, in which he never finished college from serving time for drug possession and sale of narcotics, and has found himself out of addiction and mood problems in a spiritual help group. I never or rarely saw many of my close relatives who all live distant to each other, from Canada to Alaska, and from Texas to the Philippines.
I currently live with my parents while working and going to school, and plan on getting a place for rent in Arizona when I attend my second year at ASU in-person. My favorite hobbies are hiking, exploring, traveling, driving, playing basketball, attending clubs/festivals, making short films, watching shows, much of it reality shows, listening to and singing music, and skiing. My favorite movie and show genres are thrillers of many kinds, horror, late night comedies, documentaries, reality comedies/thrillers and drama. I listen to a wide variety of music, usually which is southern hip-hip (trap), emo rap, classic rock, club music, pop and older country music. However, I used to do more of running and biking. The places I've traveled to and toured many of its historical sites and art museums as well as popular locations, include...
Los Angeles, CA; Portland, Oregon; various small towns and Yellowstone National Park, Wyoming; ski resorts in Montana when I was 3; North and South Dakota outdoor sites like Mount Rushmore when I was about 5; Nebraska, Wisconsin and Iowa; New York City, New York; Philadelphia, Pennsylvania; Boston, Massachusetts; Providence, Rhode Island; Iowa; Washington D.C. (twice); Miami metro strip where my Aunt lived and the inland farms where my Grandpa lived in Florida; Cancun, Mexico; Downtown Chicago, Illinois where my sister lives; Las Cruces where my grandma lives; and the boundary waters north of Minnesota where once my family had a house boat when I was much younger and again during summer of college where me and my older friends camped on a island for 5 days without technology.
