Presently appointed as the Skegness Town Crier a position that I love. 5 years Radio presenting on a local internet station.

    About me

I came to acting and entertaining late in life. I have a very youthful outlook and love to entertain whilst enjoying myself. First appeared in a stage production "The Sound Of Music" some years back and did a bit of AM Dram and entertaining whilst in the Army. I served for 23 years leaving in the rank of Warrant Officer. Since leaving in 1995 I have had several jobs with the Police, NHS, Landwork, Specialist Printing. I have been taking part in weekly Acting For Camera lessons for the last year or so and have performed dialogues and appeared in a short film, two feature films, a TV drama and a number of commercial projects. I am always looking to move forward into the industry and gain experience on the wider stage. As one of my mentors told me "Neither of us are ever going to be romantic leads" but I am willing to take on any type of role that I am considered for. The more the merrier as they say.

    My interests

I am interested in gaining experience throughout the film industry in any role that I am considered suitable for, paid or unpaid. I live on the east coast of Lincolnshire but I am willing to travel anywhere. My general interests are keeping fit, love my running. Cooking - will try anything. Love Italian, Greek and Caribbean. Family history - found some very interesting stuff such as half-brothers and sisters I didn't know I had!!!!! Always looking to learn and improve! I am proud to serve as the Skegness Town Crier. Love it. I take part in competitions nationally and have won several awards. Always looking to keep busy, learn new things and improve on what I know!

    Television experience

Recently completed a shoot for a TV program that will be going out in America, Australia and Channel 4 in the UK later this year. Appeared in an episode of Antiques Road Trip with Philip Serrell who visited Skegness. Spent an enjoyable few hours filming, talking Town Crying with him. Episode 24/25. Appeared a couple of times on ITV This Morning with Alison Hammond searching for a lost Lottery Winner that lives in my area. Several appearances on BBC Look North prior to my volunteering for the London Olympics. Also appeared on Look North when I was an Executive Councillor on East Lindsey District Council.
