Mandy's Surgery Session: Carl Proctor CDG

To support our members during these unprecedented times, we continue to provide our talented community with useful professional resources. Together, we can make the most of this challenging time!

We have launched Mandy’s Surgery sessions as an opportunity for our community to gain valuable insights and advice from leading figures in the industry. During these sessions, Mandy members are able to ask career-focused questions, as well as gaining advice on their CV, showreel and more.

We are delighted to announce that Carl Proctor CDG will be hosting a series of one-on-one sessions with the successful Mandy members on Tuesday 5th May!

Carl Proctor is not only a busy Casting Director and a member of The Casting Directors Guild, he is also one of London’s most in demand headshot photographers. Carl trained as an actor at RADA and worked successfully for many years. He also ran a production company with Imogen Stubbs and Serena Gordon. He has produced one feature film - ‘Mad Dogs’ - as well as producing and/or directing award-winning short films and theatre productions, including ‘Good Golly Miss Molly’, the West End rock ‘n’ roll musical.

Carl’s illustrious career gives him a unique slant on our industry and makes him well-placed to share his wealth of experience, as well as offering advice and guidance on a one-to-one level.

When: Tuesday 5th May. Members will have a 30 minute slot, and this will be between 10.00 to 13.00.

Where: Zoom. The invite will be emailed to members that are successful.

Mandy Surgery sessions are run exclusively for Premium Members and applicants will be entered into a raffle to be selected. To be in with the chance of having a one-on-one session with Carl Proctor CDG, all you have to do is answer the question below! Hurry, we will close the draw on Thursday 30th April at 15:00 BST. We will then contact the selected members on Friday 1st May.
