Mandy's Surgery Session: Lizzie Bichard CDG

To support our members during these unprecedented times, we continue to provide our talented community with useful professional resources. Together, we can make the most of this challenging time!

We have launched Mandy’s Surgery sessions as an opportunity for our community to gain valuable insights and advice from leading figures in the industry. During these sessions, Mandy members are able to ask career-focused questions, as well as gaining advice on their CV, showreel and more.

We are delighted to announce that Lizzie Bichard CDG will be hosting a series of one-on-one sessions with the successful Mandy members on Thursday 7th May!

Lizzie started off working in top UK film and television casting departments on award-winning television series like River and Outlander, and on features which include 'Mission Impossible 5’, Kenneth Branagh's 'Cinderella', ’The Hundred Foot Journey’, ‘Legend’, and 'Straight Outta Compton’. She has also been the assistant or associate on over forty shows for the West End, Bath Theatre Royal and Bristol Old Vic. More recently, Lizzie has worked as Casting Director on shows at theatres such as The Trafalgar Studios and The Park and rehearsed readings at theatres including The National Theatre. Her independent feature, White Chamber, won the 2019 Scottish BAFTA for Best Actress and was released on Netflix. She is due to continue working on three independent feature films post-lockdown. 

When: Thursday 7th May. Members will have a 30 minute slot, and this will be between 14.00 to 17.00.

Where: Zoom. The invite will be emailed to members that are successful.

Mandy Surgery sessions are run exclusively for Premium Members and applicants will be entered into a raffle to be selected. To be in with the chance of having a one-on-one session with Lizzie Bichard CDG, all you have to do is answer the question below! Hurry, we will close the draw on Thursday 30th April at 15:00 BST. We will then contact the selected members on Friday 1st May.
