About me
I am a lighting designer and theatre professional who graduated from Oklahoma City Universities School of Theatre with a design and production major. Specializing in lighting design, I have developed skills in programming, rendering, computer-aided drafting, production management, consulting, and system design. Current circumstances have allowed me to returned to my home state of Arkansas.Over the past several years, I have worked as the master electrician at Oklahoma City University, entertainment technician at the Walt Disney World Resort, where I was also a member of the Disney Parks Live Entertainment lighting design bench and was scheduled to be the lighting supervisor and designer for the Creede Repertory 2020 season which was canceled due to COVID-19. These experiences have provided me with a wide range of skills and knowledge in the entertainment field.
In 2016, I was awarded the Kennedy Center American College Theatre Festival's (KCACTF) Meritorious achievement in lighting design for my work on The Giver.
In 2017, I was awarded the National KCACTF's Barbizon Award for Excellence in Lighting Design for my work on The Crucible. As well as the Don Childs Stagecraft Institute of Las Vegas Award and the National Vectorworks Award for my drafting of The Crucible.
In 2017, I was awarded the lighting fellowship at the Eugene O'Neill Theatre Center where I worked alongside many lighting designers and was able to focus on my skills in communication and efficiency.
