About me
I am a versatile stage, lighing and fly person who has worked mainly in theatres and multi purpose venues. I also work on a freelance basis as a show manager, stage manager, show caller, lighting designer/technician.I have a wide and varied experience in all the areas associated with stage work from lighting to stage management, through sound engineer to set construction; I have always worked in venues where versatility is a priority so I can turn my hand to anything.
This ability has stood me in good stead throughout my eclectic working life outside of theatre and has allowed me to develop an "anything is possible" attitude to my work ethic.
I am constantly looking to learn and further develop my skills in every avenue of my work whether it is in lighting, stage, sound or set design or management abilities through stage management or team management
I am a team player and as a freelance technician I am very aware of how important it is to have a good team working in harmony in order to produce the best work possible (something I take pride in creating).
At present, my job involves liaising with in coming companies prior to their visit and dealing with their technical requirement (which can include creating a show from the ground up along with designing sets and lighting), booking technical staff and equipment for those shows, facilitating a pleasant and productive visit and solving any issues if they arrive.
Additional skills:
I am First Aid Trained,P.A.T. trained
