    About me

I have had a vast knowledge of skills ranging from computing, office work, history and costume, language, and fashion, from the different courses, studies part time and full time work that I have carried out. All of these things are useful in any workplace and go hand in hand with being outgoing, being able to work to deadlines and being enthusiastic about what I am learning and doing, as they are all things that I enjoy, and am good at. I am very organised in my work which enables me to think clearly and always be in control. This is important when working to deadlines and carrying out the specifications for this job which by reading the attached document include; organising the diary, arranging meetings and using the computer to keep up to collate data from this museum and others. I have had volunteer experience in youth groups and various committees that have enabled me to work as part of a team and give my thoughts and visions constructively whilst being able to listen and take advice from others at the same time in order to make the overall end result the best that it can be.

I enjoy the challenges of hard work and have never been afraid to ask questions to make sure that I am working to the best of my ability and can learn as I go along about areas or topics that I was previously unaware of.

The skills attained in my GCSE and A level's taught me that I can do anything when I put my mind to it and also forced me to open my eyes as to what goes on beyond the classroom - I visited shows, museums, performances, lectures and researched into all of the areas of my study to make sure that I knew exactly what I needed to in order to take my work and grades above and beyond the level that they needed to be. The difference needed is someone who gives in the minimum level needed to achieve a grade or someone who goes beyond that and not only researches more into the topic because they want to but they enjoy it and like me, enjoys the end result better when they can see it coming together to fit perfectly at the end.
