About me
I worked as a professional actor between 1990 - 2002. Work included TV, film, theatre, including the National Theatre.I have been a fully qualified teacher of drama in secondary schools since 2005.
Additional skills:
I have directed young people (aged 12-19 yrs) in productions such as Kes, Teechers, Two, Road, My Mother Said I Never Should, Grimm Tales and many more.
I have managed young people's theatre projects which were self devised and written by me in collaboration with young participants (aged 12-17 yrs). Using Forum Theatre the projects explored the issue of bullying and toured local schools and youth clubs.
I am skilled and knowledgeable in all aspects of secondary drama education, the curriculum and exam specifications.
I am a founding member of a comedy improvisation group The Hee Ha's, who perform in and around Brighton
