About me
Jude Evans is a director, movement director and arts facilitator based in the Midlands and London areas. Theatre interests span across Shakespeare, classic theatre, European theatre (esp. Spanish and Ancient Greek), Latin American theatre, American theatre, adaptation and physical and movement-based theatre.Most recently, Jude directed Eugene O'Neill's Thirst for Play.ground Festival, StoneCrabs/Albany Theatre, Deptford. She is developing Thirst further as part of a triple bill of American plays. She is also in the R&D stages of projects including: Euripides' Andromache, Wuthering Heights, and devised Shakespeare. Jude is movement directing for Popinjay Productions' devised adaptation of a Russian fairytale and for Bethumped Theatre Dance's devised Nigeria 1914 (dir. Katharina Reinthaller).
