About me
My name is Lara Stavrinou and I am a London Theatre Assistant at the Arts Council, I also write, produce and facilitate youth outreach projects.
I recently finished directing a devised youth outreach project with Oval House Theatre, facilitate workshops with Hampstead Theatre's Creative Learning department, read scripts for Hampstead Theatre and work as a freelance administrator for Tamasha theatre company. In the past I have also worked on a freelance basis for The National (production of Greenland) and The Royal Court (Literary Admin).
As a writer I have had work on at the Edinburgh Fringe and at scratch nights at Theatre503 and Hampstead Theatre. I am currently writing a play for Oval House to be performed on a bus in Brixton and work with Green Stage Theatre Company to create sustainably themed work. I have also worked as an assistant dramaturge on an RSC new writing project for young people. Having recently finished the Royal Court's Young Writers Programme, I will be embarking on the Studio group this September.
I am hugely passionate about arts outreach and regeneration and would like to continue working in this field.
