    About me

I’m an organised, reliable, ambitious person.

After completing four courses at GCSE levels, I successfully completed the first year of a further education course in Performing Arts at Coleg Ceredigion. Although my academic training was valuable, I feel I’ve been developing my skill set through self-confidents learning on the job and adapting to my work conditions. I have worked with 15 different drama companies ranging from amateur productions to a professional tour.

I have faced and found solutions to challenges in an array of different situations. I have been faced with innumerable emergencies when working such as quickly troubleshooting and replacing microphones on actors and solving, on the spot, how to replace a prop/piece of scenery mid-show.

Working with a professional company has taught me to deal with stress effectively. I have also used these experiences to improve invaluable skills such as timekeeping, organisation and people skills as well expanding my understanding and skills of being a technician. With an imaginative and resourceful approach while working, I was able to produce successful outcomes and overcome any challenges I faced.

After deciding to pursue my ambition through more practical experiences, I feel that I have gained strength and self-confidence that would not have come this early had I relied solely on an academic training.
