    About me

    I'm a skilled technician with a broad and confident understanding of lighting and stage craft.

    Up until 2017 I worked as chief electrician at the Assembly Hall Theatre, Tunbridge Wells. In my time working there I gained a broad range of skills and experience in the theatre and live events industry.

    I'm now working as a freelance lighting technician, I have design, programming and operating experience in a broad range of events and theatre shows.

    My experience includes:

    working with a wide range of generic, intelligent and LED fixtures

    managing and supervising technicians and other staff

    lighting programming

    harness / climbing work


    working under pressure and to deadlines

    working long hours

    calling followspots

    lighting design

    specific health and safety duties including building and equipment inspections and formal risk assessments

    extensive fault finding and problem solving
