About me

Short description of my voice:
I am an experienced American voice artist and actress, originally from the New York area, I'm now based in London. My natural speaking voice has a smooth General American or Mid-Atlantic sound.

I can adapt to a wide range of styles and can easily handle the full spectrum of American dialects, as well as a further range of character voices of various ages. I have also worked for many years as a dialect coach for American accents, RP and accent correction. I also coach acting and poetry performance. I pass entirely as British, when needed. Corporate voiceovers include work for clients such as Pricewaterhouse Coopers, BP, Canon, Pearson Education, Goldcorp, Credit Suisse, Oxford University Press, Phillips Innovation, HSBC, Mercedes Benz and the NHS. Additionally, I have done voiceovers for the US Olympic Committee, National Geographic, Hogarth, and Bill Gates' Maternal Health Task Force, among many others .

I have voiced computer games for EA Dice, Konami and Empire Interactive. She has also done CD's and DVD's for English learning companies such as Eurotalk, Teflonline and EFS-TV.

I have narrated audiobooks for Harper Collins - All the Little Pieces by Jilliane Hoffman, AudioGo (formerly BBC Audiobooks) "The Midwife of Hope River" set in 1930's Appalachia, and Laura Lippman's bestselling novel "And When She Was Good" "Murder at the Miramar" by Dane Mcaslin and Karen Rose's "Watch Your Back" for ISIS audio. Two of these were longlisted for the Audible Crimefest award. I also played the title role in the BBC Radio 3 play "Migrant Mother".
You can watch for me upcoming this year in "Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them" and "Denial". Other film work includes playing opposite Colin Firth as the disgruntled Blonde Church Lady in Matthew Vaughn's "Kingsman: The Secret Service", CNN Newscaster in Roman Polanski's "The Ghost Writer" and "Proof" directed by John Madden with Gwyneth Paltrow and Anthony Hopkins where I play Joanne, Claire's (Hope Davis') friend in the party and memorial scenes. I've appeared in leading roles in many short films produced by independent companies. "Dinner and a Movie" screened in over 15 festivals and won Film of the Month on Shooting People and Staff Pick on Vimeo.

I was delighted to get to play the US President in the comedy series "Crackanory" on television channel Dave.

Stage work includes, among others, a leading role for the English Theatre Frankfurt in their acclaimed production of "The Dead Guy".
My one-woman show, "The Have-Nots" transferred to B.A.C. after winning Time Out Critic's Choice Pick of London's One-Person Show Festival
In "A Round Heeled Woman" at the West End's Aldwych Theatre starring Sharon Gless, covering two women's roles, I had the opportunity to go on several times during the run.

My training background ranges from the traditional at Bristol Old Vic School's 2-year postgrad programme and as a student of the late Stella Adler at her New York studio, and study at Northwestern University's School of Communication, to the more experimental physical approaches of the Michael Chekhov studio in New York and Anne Bogart's "Viewpoints" technique.

I have permanent UK residency and am legal to work in the UK, EU and USA.
