About me
My name is Cat Partridge, I'm 23 year old with a passion for Hair and Makeup Artistry. My interest began at a young age watching various films and television shows, the Superhero genre in particular. I'm inspired by the many aspects involved when creating different characters and the way they are brought to life from the script to the screen. My ambition is to be a part of this industry.I started my journey to becoming an MUA in 2016 at University College Birmingham studying Level 2 Hair and Media Makeup, progressing on to Level 3 in Theatrical SFX Hair and Media Makeup. After completing my college studies, I decided to further my education and knowledge of my craft by attending University where I achieved a first class degree with honours in Specialist Hair and Media Makeup. Throughout my education I have gain skills and knowledge in various sectors of the industry such as:
Commercial, Editorial, SFX, Historical makeup, On set prosthetics, Character creation, Character Design, Postiche, and On set skills. I’m eager to put these in to practice within the industry.
I have vast experience working with children of all ages and hold an up-to-date DBS certificate. I have been working part time as a children’s gymnastics coach since 2016. I have also worked with a local primary school offering free face painting for different events such as school discos, plays, themed days, and charity events.
I am currently based in Birmingham UK; however, I am able to travel as I have held a full clean driver’s licence since 2018.
