Music Theatre Warwick is a society dedicated to performing musicals and concerts throughout the year. We provide endless opportunities for members to get involved, whether it’s through performing on stage, making props and costumes, playing in the band or even directing and producing - there’s something for everyone! Over the past twenty years, the society has continued to develop, each year bringing new ideas for growth. With regular slots in Warwick Arts Centre’s main theatre and studio, and the Students’ Union’s venue, the society is able to produce exciting, professional quality shows. MTW is committed not only to producing high-class shows, but to raising money for a good cause and working alongside the local community. Every year we perform at Lapworth Village Hall, and have raised thousands of pounds for Christian Aid. 2008 saw the start of MTW Juniors, a Youth Music Theatre Workshop for children aged 7-11, run on a volunteer basis meaning it is accessible to children of every background.
