A Chinese student falls in love with her female English teacher.
Chen falls in love with Lily, her foreign English teacher. The school warns Lily to stop the 'inappropriate' relationship at once, and Lily starts avoiding Chen. Realising what is going on, Chen confronts Lily, declaring her love. The two decide to continue the relationship despite the odds, to eventually find true happiness within it.
