Logline: A motherless boy, who is continuously neglected by his grief ridden father, finds inspiration and hope from an unlikely source.

Short Synopsis: After the untimely death of his mother, Max is beginning to lose his father to depression. He is lost, alone and desperate for change. Max uses music to escape his painful reality and frequently dreams of a past filled with happiness and hope. He once shared a wonderful relationship with his father but now sees only the frail shell of a great man he used to know. Yet Max’s curiosity and passion for music lead to the formation of a unique and supporting friendship. Can this rare and inspiring friendship provide Max with the hope and strength he so desperately needs to help his father and to restore the rich relationship they once shared?
