Pleasure Beach is a coming-of-age drama: Somers Town meets Y Tu Mamá También.

Escaping trouble at home, shy teenager Danny hopes the glitz and glamour of a seaside town will give him the confidence and opportunity to lose his virginity. He is joined in his quest by Andrei, a young Romanian immigrant whom he befriends. A chance meeting with Stacey, a faded beauty turning tricks in the seedier side of town, gives the boys a sharp lesson in life and love as they struggle to make the transition from boys to men.
