RPG Casting
I've uploaed a video audition I made today to my CCP profile, it's for the new feature "Real Playing Game" from
MGN Filmes. It's an online casting, if you find a character that suits you, subimt your own at:-

If you get selected "for the role" by the producers then it's full rates (so I am informed) and filmed in Portugal.
You can only apply for one role so pick wisely.
Anyway, could I have a critique? There've been many that have made a polished production out of it, I have gone for the old "1 shot" take, so I am hoping it shows I haven't chosen the best of "each and every line".

Interesting concept 'Online Casting' and surely the way for 'pre selection' in the future. Though not replacing the 'real thing'.
Kenny, you did notice that there is a 'final' casting session in Portugal after which the actors will be selected?

Yes I did, the final casting's expenses are covered (I am also lead to believe), it's the finance for having auditions in several countries they don't have in place.
I guess it's better than wasting your budget?

It must take a couple of days to process the uploads as it still isn't showing onsite yet.
Although, for those that are interested in doing their own, pay and stuff isn't shown on the site, their is a contact page, so any questions you have, just do as I did and contact them, by phone is my best advice, Portugal is GMT time line, so same office hours, and at least you'll get an instant response.

Thanks Toni, but do try again, they've been uploading a lot of videos today, so it may be due to heavy traffice. I have an amazing anti-virus programme, and can honestly assure you, I've had no reports of adverse behavoir from the site itself.

Hi Alice, I voted for you, gave you a 5! Though I hope you don't mind, I mentioed that the video ran dark on my creen, but it didn't take anything away from your performance!

The only bad comment I will make regarding this type of casting, is that video submissions shouldn't be aired to vote on till all submissions are in. That way your own unique take on the scene cannot be copied or utilized in another way!
There's one guy, who's obviously copied both mine and Pessary's interpritation, which is bloody annoying GDK. He's very very good, and claims it's purely innocent, but then he also claims he played Lampur Fay in Star Wars Episode 3.
All creditted roles are listed on www.starwars.com, it's a full mandate of cast and crew, there's no character or even a mention of his name, though I did notice that the Extras Casting were arranged via Maureen Fay. So I am guessing he's an extra, no problem with that, but why the bull?
I digress, and no it's not sour grapes, just pure annoyance at read a bunch of kiss-ass reverence rather than a critique of the scene!
Anyway, that's the only problem with it lol!
Hehe, Drew mate, the onus is on you, I was aloud to have a little fun! It's your performance in it that's being judged. It could have been worse! I could have done it as Speedy Gonzales like I was going to!
