What does Pre selected mean?

But cant scars and stretch marks be concealed? Many actresses have scars you will never know about eg. Jlo has a huge brown birth mark on her face I cant spot it on screen though.

Hi there - I've also been selected for this through CastNet. I asked them what they thought and they were very suspicious and recommended NOT to send a bikini phot. They have e-mailed Groucho Films asking for clarification but have had no response from them. Also concerned that the film was originally titled "Lust" but didn't get off the ground. Their advice was wait until we hear back from them.

Have any of the men on here been shortlisted and have they been asked to provide similar photos (not bikinis obviously)!!

Would help to know what parts others have been "pre selected" for to see if it's just another term for casting call. I'm up for "Amaretto"

Has anyone actually sent them a bikini shot?

I was pre-selected for one of the parts...sent some shots of me in shorts. haven't heard anything back yet. Suppose it's different for girls though...

Thanks Ben - this seems to ring all sorts of alarm bells with all us "girls". Surely, if their reasoning was that we would be seen in bikinis wouldn't you need to show them you have a six pack too - and I'm not talking beer here, Ben?

I just got an email asking for a few pictures in swimwear. My thoughts were that if they were going to be filming in the canaries then there would probably be beach shots or scenes on the beach and we just had to tick another box before we were called to audition. I did check out the company and it seemed above board. I'm probably a bit skinny for what they were looking for but didn't seem any harm in trying.

Had a message from Nichola and it seems that we've all been told we are pre selected for different roles so maybe we've ticked more than one box and just need to keep ticking them until they are happy.

Good luck - sure you're not too skinny anyway, surely if you are to play the lead's brother they wouldn't want you to eclipse him anyway!!

As I said to Nichola maybe we'll all get to meet on a beach sometime!

Oh know i still believe they're ok Ben, just wondered whther you found their actual website or not, PCR & Actors inc. wouldn't advertise the castings if it wasn't professional company and another agency who gave their comments wouldn't have sent there actors/actresses their c.v's if wasn't genuine, lets hope so anyway!

No haven't heard anything after sent my pics. i'd rather know if i didn't get through that they would just let us know, as if an important job came up you can definately say your avaliable. Yes if anyone does know if they've had any feedback from groucho films let us know!

It's just so frustrating isn't it? You'd like the job but you don't want to turn anything else down in case you don't get it. It's the age old problem - it's like buses - nothing for ages then lots come at the same time! Good luck anyway.
