I want to get peoples opinion because once again it is back. I am actually a fan. I feel yes it is a bit degrading but it is light tv for when I go to bed or fancy just chilling. Why do we all get caught up in this hype so much. People say they hate it but pretty much end up watching and talking about it
An actor trying to go on big brother is impossible.
LOL@ Bigbrother and the people who watch it, but still criticize the show.
I agree with everyone who 'HATES' Big Brother.
Christine. I had an audition for panto, several years ago. It was a top 'panto' company. Alot of fantastic actresses din't get the main part, because of 'div' from BB, who got the part. I heard later that the 'BB Celeb' was going around claiming that they had never done no 'acting-stuff' and they were being paid more than everyone else in the show.

I'm with most people here - Really hate Big Brother and can not understand why most of my mates seem to enjoy it. Also the fact that the wannabes then get acting parts - most recently Jade goody as apparently been cast as Wicked Witch in a panto. The director apparently giving the reason for casting her was because he wanted a face that people would know.

Shame it\'s a face like a slapped cow\'s ar*e with brains and talent to match. Also this if a face who\'s popularity took a serious nosedive after the whole Celebrity BB/Shilpa thing. Why doesn\'t he cast Max Mosely as well and have done with it. It\'ll end in tears (I hope)
I don\'t like it and I don\'t watch it is boring the same stuff happens in every series so I would rather read a book!

Jade Goody, for all her limitations, has done remarkably well! She\'s made a few million quid and for a girl from her background, with a mum who has her share of problems, that what I call success! Good on her!
There does seem to be an awful lot of whinging going on in this forum! I\'m new here and also fairly new to the acting business but I\'m having a lot of fun and getting to quite a few auditions and being offered parts.
I may be an older git with not a helluva a lot ahead of me but I\'m making the most of it, one day at a time, as Bill would say. Wink, wink, nudge, nudge!
My only regret is that I didn\'t do it all thirty years ago. I\'d be a huge Hollywood star by now!!!!

I, too, would rather read something than watch Big Brother. Probably a five volume history of the pre French Revolutionary period etc. etc. (c.f. \'Summer Read\' thread, if at all interested) etc.
