Golden Rules for Actors
I've been around for quite a while now, and it would be wonderful to share some wise words.... (but if anything I'm more confused than ever!). So please share your wise words, your "Golden Rules", keep 'em short, explain them if you want but keep the rule itself to a sentence or two.
I suppose I ought to start the ball rolling and so in keeping the gold theme.
1. All that glisters is not Gold.
Try not to be a knob! The project is more important than you are. You are always replaceable and will be judged on your behaviour as well as your ability.

Be totally relaxed before performing. Tension is the single most likely condition to affect your performance in a bad way.

Be careful about what roles you go for, being typecast and ruin your career, I've seen it happen a few times.
