completely agree - the viewing notification was one of the best features, I have emailed Mandy multiple times about it and they send the same generic response everytime - vaguely talking about improvements and new features coming - features which we are yet to see and they won't be drawn any further, just keep sending the same response each time. Also seriously considering whether it is worth the subscription now.

Here we go again. Despite asking why I get jobs for things like Support Operative on my acting page (I've never expressed an interest in this sort of job) and getting the stock reply along the lines of Sorry, we'll fix it, it still happens.
My email to them today:
Yet another misplaced job ad. I'm an actor - NOT a Support Operative. SO, why did t. his 'pop up' on my ACTING page? I have never put, anywhere on my information. that I do office/backstage/support work.

So many glitches and - while I'm here - where are all the wonderful bells and whistles you were going to put in the site on the behest of 'members'?

Not good.

Is it just me or has the Application Status gone, when I used to apply for a job, I used to go to the application and at the bottom it tells me if the application was viewed, now it’s gone. Is anyone else having this problem now. Toni I really understand you anger, Mandy is turning into something else but an acting site for ACTORS. It’s like the job centre plus.

Yes, Fahad! The Application Status facility is (at best) variable. Status dates seem to come and go for no reason. Also, the facility to view applications in date order and in view order has started showing unreliable results. I think we all know the solution!

The usual response:
“The Mandy platform resides on an ageing codebase and is extremely difficult to maintain. We are in the process of migrating our existing codebase so that we can quickly start to implement improvements and product features our users are demanding. The team are looking at rolling out these changes as soon as they feel comfortable with them.”

To which I replied:
“It’s been residing there for a long time. I thought you were rectifying the platform. Maybe get in another estate agent?”

I think I’ll be banned soon :-)

You will not be banned Toni, it’s how you feel, and if don’t express how you feel then we have a problem. You say what you feel and we are all behind you.

So many non-acting jobs! Unpaid work! Allowing posts with just "paid" - without the fee displayed! I honestly loathe and detest what this platform has become in the last 12 months. Never mind pretty much all of us couldn't actually USE it for 4-6 weeks when they 'upgraded'(!) everything. It is so demoralising. Have they 'improved' StarNow the same way?

We need to see when an employer views us. Sometimes an employer may view you many times but you're not picked. Nevertheless, this shows an actor that they are generating interest even if they don't get the job. And it makes Mandy feel more valuable for an actor.
