  • Project Details
Casting London-based actors for a one-scene short film about a gay affair.
Zoom chemistry read-throughs beforehand plus one day rehearsals weekend 18th/19th May.
Production states "Low budget personal project with a really good team of up and coming creatives. Intention is to make work of high quality with limited means with our collaborators. Inspired by mumblecore, french new wave and Larry Clark/Andrea Arnold."

Note; This role requires a degree of suggested nudity and simulated intimacy/sex - there will be an intimacy coordinator present.

Scene Description: 'Quickie' is a short scene about the end of a hookup between two men carrying out an affair. The younger partner tries to play things cool while desperately looking for an indication that he's not good enough. The older partner maintains a distance to protect himself emotionally while indulging in the attention he receives in this dynamic. The scene is a close study of the dynamics between two people miscommunicating; a look at their desires and fears which go unsaid in the bedroom.
