Project DetailsCasting It's No Picnic," a 5-minute short film about a solo mother and her teenage daughter. It is a touching comedy-drama about their relationship and the mother's struggles with parenting by herself.
Synopsis: Mum has organised a day out with the daughter and she doesn't really want to be there. Mum insists on doing things that are embarrassing and annoying, and daughter has a hard time hiding her aggravation. She loves her mum but would rather be somewhere else with friends. -
