The nominees gathered at London's Guildhall on Sunday 15 October, compèred by the award winning Sharon D Clarke, with guest appearances from Emma Rice, Freddie Fox and Tyrone Huntley.

Narvik by Lizzie Nunnery won best new play, while Everybody's Talking about Jamie won best musical production and The Who's Tommy won best touring production.
