About me
A Canadian-born-and-raised, with a colourful heritage, and a voice from the British Isles! Although my path has recently leaned into Commercial, Music Video, and Film Directing and Feature writing, my primary passion has always been acting. My passion for Shakespeare, BBC dramas, and Old Hollywood has always driven my passion and enthusiasm for playing colourful, remembered, and intense roles. I am also very athletically capable as I am an experienced competitive fencer, and have been for over 20 years. I have also cross trained and competed in Karate which really helps when choreographing fights for stage and screen.Although I work in the Key Creative world-building positions of Director and Writer, I am completely respectful and malleable as Talent and love collaborating to bring the vision of the Writer and Director to life. Doing a role justice is no small responsibility, and I try my very best to bring my best to every role, big and small. I have an incredible respect for crew as I started as a Gaffer, Grip, and AC on several productions so I always co-operate and enjoy everyone on set's company.
Additional skills:
-Olympic-style fencer (Coach and competitive, 18 years) Who has choreographed for Theatre, Films, and Acting Classes.
-Experienced in mannerisms, voice, vocabulary, and gestures from fargone eras such as Medieval, Renaissance (Shakespearean), The Victorian, Restoration, and Prohibition Eras.
-History Enthusiast with extensive knowledge of: The Romans, Medieval life, notably The Crusades, Napoleonic era war camp life, and WW II's Intelligence War.
Additional information:
Never afraid to take a bit of a beating for a role; whether it's a fight, or a jump, or a slap in the face, let's do it and make the magic as organic as possible.
