About me
LAMDA Gold Medalist. My accent is from the south so can sound classy, or course, young or melodic (I was a soprano at school so hit the high notes). I pick up dialects and accents quickly from hearing them). I read lines fluently and have read for others. Diverse work experiences. Excellent sight reader in rehearsals and filming. Other roles include professional media companies include voice over for the NHS training health professionals ( Junction 15 ) and for a English as Foreign Language course as a police woman. Non uniform investigator for Title Role production of Crimes That Shook Britain and an investigating interviewer of residential abuse in a childrens home for the NSPCC. In contrasting roles ( for fun) I enjoyed extra work dancing in a nightclub- a horror flick and helping out other actors video reels.
I have moved to the South now (thus previous Midlands-based agent can no longer link me to roles here). Mother and daughter role? Laurie-lee Shailer now features as well.

Formerly under Amanda Andrews Agency in tne Midlands but now relocated to The South represented by abcast agency for a year but would be happy to seek an agent local to Eastbourne where I now live.
I'm described as having a lot of warmth in my voice and have done voiceovers for radio and social media educational videos both medical and with registered charities. In acting Im often given roles that show compassion and empathy.
Mother police officer Social worker. I am a podiatrist now and have played racier characters, including ( modern jive ) dance and because of my Ehlers Danlos Hypermobility would represent wheelchair and disability well.
Extensive experience and
paid work has included the NSPCC, corporate training videos for Wickes aswell as character portrayal (Lady Guenivere) at the Cauldwell Ball. I have done some paid work for Rotunda Films, Money Kills and The Last Days of Edgar Harding movie, Junction 15 (as a w.p.c) and Dubious films (October) and several student films, aswell as paid days within Staffordshire University 2nd and final year Stufents under Nick Stubbs' direction, to help the students get the studio/directing experience.
Gold medal in Acting through the London Academy Music and Drama Awards.
Distinction and honours were attained for the silver and bronze respectively, thus showing a range of style, pace and material.
My profile shots are diverse the three most used showing contrast-described by my agent as: 'a gangsters moll', a 'yummy mummy' and a 'stern school ma'am'. I can change looks quite flexibly and enjoy challenging roles.
Background Information:

Having medical training and university courses can be aware and share insight in the following fields:
Children and families law, Community Care Act including Adult Social Care Provisions, Safeguarding Vulnerable Adults and Children, Medical Research, Podiatrist and administration of Local Anaesthetic. Handling difficult cases and working with types. Good communication skills. -
Assisted on the filming of Crimes That Shook Britain - Road Rage having devastating consequences
In the scene which was aired but now needs payment to view I play a smartly dressed official bringing together public information to identify the perpetrator. Pace and urgency while working with others is demonstrated. -
For two years I have supported exams in the medical field for paediatricians. This involves portraying characters that are true to life for the potential paediatrician to pick out elements from which they can asses and respond. I would then be asked to feedback to the examiner. Medical degree training helps me but essentially I need to convey genuine feelings during these sessions for the paediatrician to pick up on.
