Highlights
-
Over the past two years, i have performed in a number of ameture productions. When i was 18 i walked into a random audition for the pantomime Dick Whittington to get some experience of what auditions are like. I gave a ten minute monolougue from the piece for the character King Rat (the main villain). I had never done it before but the next day recieved a phonecall asking if i would accept the part. I performed infront of 3000 people over 9 nights. I had the bug. From there i was asked to audition for a play called Contempary Canterbury, it was an adaption of the Canturbury Tales. I was asked to play the Knight as well as other characters, It was exciting, the BBC helped design the costume. I performed infront of 1000 people over 3 nights.
From here i played Mr Wickham in Pride and Prejudice. It was an ameture production again, but i learnt alot about being a versitile actor. I then was asked to audition for a charity event, to play Lysander in A Midsummer Nights Dream. It was my biggest performance, and my first chance at doing Shakespeare which was what i always wanted to do.
My personal life and home life prevented me from taking anymore work on over the last 8 months but now im desperate to dive back into the acting world and give myself the best opportunity i can to succeed.
