Highlights
-
Megan is very passionate about acting and has been for many years. At the age of 5 years old she joined the stage school Jesters Stage Academy in her hometown of Kilkenny in Ireland, where her love of acting began and remained a student of Jester for 13 years. This led her to pursue acting as a career and study theatre studies and English in Waterford Institute of Technology in Ireland where she gained a BA (Hons) Arts degree. Through this course, Megan has been involved in creating and devising work inspired by practitioners such Jerzy Grotowski and Konstantin Stanislavski. Also, she gained experience in radio plays and play readings produced as part of the practical work of the Theatre Studies programme at WIT.
From this course, I gained alot of opportunities to participate in many theatre projects such as two plays by Waterford director Jim Nolan and to portray Lady Macbeth in Suirlook Theatres adaptation of Macbeth in 2019.
