About me
Nicholas Barnes is an award-winning actor, writer and director, with over 40 years professional experience on both sides of the Atlantic. His first professional job in the theatre was with the Royal Shakespeare Company in 1981, after which he became a member of Sir Anthony Quayle's touring classical theatre company. Since then he has appeared in countless films, television series, and plays including the Olivier Award-nominated Comic Potential in the West End, and the Tony Award-winning Journey's End on Broadway. For many years he was best known as the original voice of Adrian Mole on BBC Radio 4, unleashing Sue Townsend's angst-ridden creation on an unsuspecting world. He now prefers to play more endearing sociopaths, such as Petruchio, Enron's CEO Jeffrey Skilling, and Presidential assassin Charles J Guiteau.License & Passport
