I am an experienced actor with over 30 years of working in theatre. I also write and direct and sing.Additional skills:
further skills including writing. He wrote and directed "Cats on the roof" and an adaptation of Gogol's "Diary of a mad man" as well as several short plays and sketches. He continues to write from one-act plays to a full-length musical (in Spanish) using the songs of "Miguel Bose", Spain's most influential pop artist of the last 30 years. "Lodgers" is Sergio's latest project, the story of a family learning to live with strangers (lodgers) when Howard, the father, decides to make a life changing career move as a writer when he looses his job and money becomes tight. Lodgers is a comedy about life!
Additional information:
Born in Mexico to an artistic family, Sergio spent most of his childhood at the backstage of theatres. At the age of 10 he began his artistic career taking his first role as John in Peter Pan joining his mother's theatre company in Mexico City. His first main role landed at the age of 12 when he was given the opportunity to play Pinocchio. After 5 years of playing various roles in Children's fairy tale stories, he join the cast of the long running "Little Women" show in Mexico City playing the role a Laurie. During his youth as an actor in Mexico he worked for Television and Theatre before relocating to London at the age of 18. Sergio's passion for writing developed when he Joined Group 64 Theatre in South London at the age of 20. In an expansion of over 20 years has played many roles including Napoleon in Animal Farm, Zolioni in Three Sisters, and the title role in Atahualpa
