• Tamara Michelle Shephard is a New York City based actor, originally from the tiny town of Pocatello, Idaho. She grew up Mormon and about 120 lbs over weight by the time she was 15. Since then she has not only shed the religion, but also the weight. After graduation, she made the long and clichéd journey to the big city to try her luck in the business.
  
  Since the move, Tamara has spent much of her time filming, and an equal and balanced amount of time at home with her two cats Bruce Springsteen and Maddie. She's not obsessed. She just loves cats.
  
  Her most recent endeavors include the lead in a web series "Life After Fat" in which she plays a girl who has lost 90 pounds but still struggles with crushing self doubt and debilitating hang ups that leave her striking out in friendships and in love. It's a comedy! It just finished it's first season, is currently circling the festival routes, and is in preproduction for season 2.
  As an actor, Tamara tries to combine her humor, life experiences, and skill to create versatility in each role she takes on, and to ensure there is always a little piece of herself left in each character or project.
