About me
I AM A CLOWN!! As an artist I am highly influenced by the works of Lecoq and Gaulier and often use their practices in my work to develop my characters and in the show itself. I am a physical performer that usually works as part of an ensemble; having done a version of The Bacchae at the Bussey building in Peckham as well as touring primary schools as a pirate in Peter Pan, both of which were devised pieces. With the Pirate character I applied absurdist and grotesque styles to my work to give the character comical value; this was also the case when I played a member of the SMT in Evan Placey’s Pronoun at Soho theatre as part of the National Connections project. I recently competed in a Monologue slam with a monologue from a play called Awkward Conversations With Animals I’ve Fucked. Which also was another absurdist piece of theatre where I was able to apply my Mime skills and deliver the comical value of the monologue.Skills

I recently competed in a Monologue slam with a monologue from a play called Awkward Conversations With Animals I’ve Fucked. Which also was another absurdist piece of theatre where I was able to apply my Mime skills and deliver the comical value of the monologue. As you can see there is a recurring theme to my work and that is because I AM A CLOWN and often land the comic roles in a production, for example playing an old hysterical Spanish lady or a drunk Mexican. I recently did a clowning course with Mitch Michelson, where I was able to apply a lot of the exercises that he taught to my work in Vernon God Little. I am a clown that aims to make people laugh!
