About me
Aaliyah Yaqub is 20 years old with experience as a Producer, Head Of Camera, Camera Operator, Photographer, OB Camera Operator, Visual Editor and Production Runner. Based in Southampton and Oxfordshire, she has worked on many different projects with numerous clients such as the BBC, Glastonbury Festivals, Showcase Cinemas and UK Student Radio Association. Aaliyah is a dedicated and talented individual and the work she has done really showcases her technical and creative competence. She has the willingness to always learn and fully embraces new opportunities that come her way.She is also actively involved in radio, as a Radio Presenter at Radio Sonar, with her previous role being Head Of Live. Now as Head of Social Media, she works on the branding and visuals of the station as well as promoting shows and Radio Sonar on various social media platforms. She has also worked closely with many community radio stations such as Voice.FM and Unity 101 in Southampton for either radio or visual work.
Going into her final year of her BA Media Production degree at Solent University, Aaliyah is looking for work within the TV/Film industry in order to achieve her long term goal as a Director.
