About me
I have just completed my Masters in Creative Writing at the University of Stirling. Last year, I graduated with a First Class Honours in English Literature.During my time at university, I was heavily involved in Air TV, the video production society where I wrote several screenplays, produced, and directed short films. After my first year, I was elected to the committee position of Head of Equipment. The year after that, I became the Head of Drama where I helped create Stirling's first 48 Hour Challenge in conjunction with Creative Stirling. I also helped, along with my peers, create high quality videos for Creative Stirling, Bloody Scotland, and Red Bull. I was also responsible for the running and organisation of biweekly production groups, an initiative where small groups were tasked with making a short film every two weeks, each week the roles of producer, director, writer, and cinematographer rotated.
Recently, I pitched my feature length screenplay, 'Babbling', at the London Screenwriters Festival where it has garnered a lot of interest.
I have also interned at Freight Books, one of the leading publishers in Scotland, where I gained invaluable insight into editing, feedback, and writing coverage.
