About me
I am a multi skilled filmmaker with experience directing, cinematography, including as a first ac. I have also worked as a runner/ production assistant. My career has mostly been within television, working as a Floor Manager and within broadcast operations.
As a floor manager in television, I oversaw operations across five sets, ensuring the smooth coordination of various production elements. My responsibilities included managing the flow of communication between directors, crew members, and talent, ensuring adherence to schedules, and resolving any on-set issues efficiently. Additionally, I facilitated the execution of directorial instructions, maintained a safe working environment, and coordinated the movement of equipment and personnel. My role required a meticulous attention to detail, excellent organisational skills, and the ability to remain calm under pressure to ensure the successful execution of each production.
I have a comprehensive understanding of the broadcasting chain and backend broadcast operations, including presentation scheduling, break parting, sending PostTX asruns, break optimisation following Ofcom regulations, developing broadcast rights reports and managing associated rights to PRS.
