League of Independent Producers
In 1970 I accepted an offer to join Birmingham Repertory Theatre instead of starting a course at LAMDA. Worked as an Actor and Stage Manager for some years before joining Michael Codron Ltd as ASM. Stayed with that organisation for 25 years before leaving to run the Production Department of Stoll Moss Theatres and their ten West End Theatres for Nica Burns and Richard Johnston.
Gareth Johnson Limited was established in January 2000 to produce and manage productions in both the commercial and subsidised sectors, as well as offering general management and consultancy services for producing companies and producers, such as The GradeLinnit Company, Lee Menzies Ltd, Mark Goucher Ltd and Target-Live Ltd.
