About me
Based in Los Angeles since 2011, I've been working professionally on films, commercials, and videos for 8+ years. Though I'm interested in multiple facets of the filmmaking process my bread and butter has been in the camera department as 1st Assistant Camera. Occasionally I've had the opportunity to spread my wings as the Cinematographer on low budget passion projects. I'd love the opportunity to shoot more properly budgeted projects, and yet I've found I enjoy the challenge of creating evocative high production value imagery out of very little and seeing the project through the color grade to completion. I've also found that my experience as Cinematographer informs my work as a 1st AC by spotlighting exactly what a DP looks for in their closest camera department accomplice. A great 1st AC goes beyond just pulling focus with precision and efficiently building and maintaining camera systems - a great 1st AC takes a load off of the DP by running the camera department and helping to always create a comfortable and safe environment for talent and crew. I'm excited to continue growing and working with past and future crews to tell tales with stunning pictures.Referees:
