About me
Coming from a dilapidated seaside town in the North of England my love for film navigated me Southward to Brighton. I enrolled at the prestigious Brighton Film School which has taught me about almost every aspect of the film industry. As film is a visual medium I naturally gravitated towards an interest in Cinematography and Later developed an enthusiasm for directing. Currently in my second year of studies I have been involved in several film school productions predominantly with roles in heads of department.Outside of studies I have worked alongside various production companies on several films, one of which was nominated for best short film at Marbella International Film Festival. I’ve also worked independently filming and editing to professional standards for Brighton & Hove Council. I am currently in discussion to co-write a short film for a charity campaign raising awareness on male domestic abuse.
Despite all of this my true passion for film lies in writing and directing. I have recently had the opportunity to write and direct my first fictional short film “Paper Cut” in which two heroin addicts stumble upon a book that has the ability to give them what they desire most but at the cost of losing their humanity. Currently in post production I’m eager to enter it into upcoming festivals in hopes of recognition.
