About me
I cut my teeth in the film industry working as a camera assistant for over 8 years, on the sets of TV dramas, films and commercials. It was here that I learnt from some of the very best in the industry, whilst always shooting my own projects alongside, nurturing my love of visual story telling.I recently graduated from the Cinematography MA course at the National Film & Television School in London, under the guidance of Oliver Stapleton BSC and Stuart Harris.
I like to think of a film production as a live ball of collaborative energy that no one person could create. It is this aspect of film-making I find so stimulating, appealing to both my creative and social sensibilities.
In my career I aim to focus on films that reflect real life experiences and represent ideas and experiences that challenge mainstream culture. I am drawn to films that make an interesting and poignant input into the 'cultural conversation'.
