About me
I'm a final year university student on a Broadcast Audio and Music Technology course at UWE in Bristol. I've gained experience in all aspects of audio production for film and television through both my university course, led by a Bafta and Emmy award winning foley artist/dubbing mixer, as well as through freelance work outside of my studies.I mainly work in narrative film location sound recording and post production, but also have experience with documentary formats, 360-degree audio recording, and broadcast/live events, having worked with the BBC on live radio broadcasts for a prime-time radio 4 program.
I have also undertaken corporate work for several organisations and businesses around Bristol, including the St. George (concert venue), Colston Hall (concert venue), BBC Introducing Southwest, UWE (University of the West of England) and Impulse Southwest. These have taken a variety of forms, from full live concert recordings of an orchestra to producing a comprehensive video package and music mix for clients.
I have my own location sound recording kit, including an 8-input timecode recorder, industry standard shotgun microphone, and a 360-degree capture ambisonic microphone. I also have access to full post production facilities through my university, available 24 hours a day, as well as my own software for the facilitation of audio post production, music composition, and sound design.
I have recently been working on post-production and sound design jobs for short films, as well as location sound jobs as both a boom operator and single sound recordist. I always enjoy the challenge of taking on new projects, whether they are recording location audio to the highest possible quality, or delivering a professional post-production sound mix. I would love to have the opportunity to work with new people and make new friends and contacts!
