About me
I count myself very fortunate to have made a strong career out of acting: with over 15 years of adult professional experience in shows that have played in the West End, toured the UK and moved Internationally. Nothing counts for more than experience in this business and I have always persevered and thrown myself into everything I have had the chance to take part in. This has made me a focussed and intuitive actor and a highly-skilled singer: specialising in singing as a tenor, and more extensively using my falsetto voice as a male soprano.Acting experience:
Over 20 years of professional acting experience, mainly in Musical Theatre. Graduated from the Guildford School of Acting with a Distinction and the Principal's Award for Excellence.
Additional skills:
Group Madrigal singing.
Awarded Silver in Stage Combat Award, with long blade and physical (hand to hand) combat.
Industry awards:
Alan has been awarded the People's Choice Best Male Performance in this year's Off West End Theatre Awards - for his performance as 'Mabel' in Regan DeWynter's All-Male 'The Pirates of Penzance' at Wilton's Music Hall.
Additional information:
Alan has been awarded the People's Choice Best Male Performance in this year's Off West End Theatre Awards - for his performance as 'Mabel' in Regan DeWynter's All-Male 'The Pirates of Penzance' at Wilton's Music Hall.
