I have been acting since I was young and have always followed it throughout my academic life; GCSE, A' Level. I then opted for a BA in Film Studies at University, in order to grasp an understanding of both sides of a production/ shoot and in turn become a more consumate actor.
I have recently finished performing The Merry Wives of Windsor (Shakespeare) in a outdoor theatre set in a wood, purposefully erected for performance since 1908 in Hampstead. The play consisted of twenty five cast and six crew, who rehearsed three evenings a week for two and half months, whilst battling with the weather to perform it to the public over two weekends of eight shows.
My last two shorts are listed on my experience.
I am looking to build my acting experience through variation and am applying for productions that sound innovative and intelligent.
Many thanks,
Benjamin Coakley
